smurph1 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Sorry I can't post clips, but I thought I'd give you my review anyway..American made hand wired compressor/sustainer..Very smooth sounding..Does not have that "squishy" sound like my Dyna Comp..Sounds good with my Strat, Outstanding, with the ASAT Classic, and absolutely Heavenly with the 535!! Really surprised me cause the Beatles and Byrds both used single coil equipped Rickenbackers for the Jangle tone..But the combo of Brian's "Cavern Club" designed amp, the Jangle Box, and the 535 had me digging out my oid Beatles books..Sweet!!
FredZepp Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 That's interesting. I've got a nice compresser around here that I barely used .. maybe I'll have to try it out one day and see what it's capable of doing.
pegleg32 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Thanks Scott, I've been considering a new compressor and it sounds like this might be a good place to start.
pegleg32 Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hey Scott, I have been looking at these on Ebay, but there are several to chose from. Can you tell me which one you got? Thanks!!

I got the original "Jangle Box"..It's my understanding there is also a JB-2, A Roger McGuinn model, and a "Silver" version that is made overseas..
