Blunote Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Welcome. I'm glad you've chosen to join us. Nice guitar & super musicianship! As has been said, there are many here among us who hail from the Chicago area. I'm not, but like to visit from time to time. Last time, my wife and I spent several hours one night at the Green Mill where we really enjoyed a performance by Alphonso Ponticelli. Somehow, I'm sure you've seen him, but if you haven't, it's worth checking out.
DetroitBlues Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Added a video...some flubs, this was pre-coffee this morning. This is a fantastic guitar. That sounded great. Hard to pick out mistakes, if there were really any at all.
TalismanRich Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Jeff, I finally got a chance to listen to the video at home on the monitors (laptop speakers are worthless for sound, and I've been on the road for a few days). That thing sounds sweet, and the playing is great! You can really hear the character of the 575. Well done!
