Congrats Brent-she's a beaut! Nice top! I am so glad to hear that it is very similar to #22. No doubt it is going to the grave with me.

I think the newest GM has a much prettier top than your older one. Also, it just looks so much better with the EMGs in there!!!!

Congratulations! That's a beauty with a lot of rockin' tones.

Not just another 150 then, he added contentiously..

You know I won't say what I really think as this post will be deleted anyway..

Brent, please delete my account here as I asked for previously.

Yngwie308 put some serious upgrades into his Gary Moore as well as being respectfull of GMs passing and legacy. Having never played a GM, all I can see from the photo of Brents new GM.. .has choice woods, EMGs and is just over the top stunning.

Yngwie308 knows there is a number of serious upgrades (no expense spared) to this GM and to consider swapping the EMGs for even Throbaks would be like taking an original 59 LP and installing a robot tuning system.

IMO: He was offended that members on the HOC not appreciate the difference between a 150 and Gary Moore. I tend to agree that only looking at a photo and forming an opinion without facts or playing, holding or listening is not exactly scientific method.

That is what I get from his posts. I get his point. The HOC provides a place to learn what makes each special run of Heritage guitars unique from the people who owned, moded and custom ordered them. At times we get a inside scoop from Jim, Ren or Marv. When we are presented with special knowledge about a signature model we can put off a member who is sensitive to just how much work and love went into it.

That is what I got anyway.

Thank you for that Spectrum 13. Yes you got it and I PM'd you at the time thanking you for understanding my point. I feel that with the two GM's I have that I have improved them as far as one can go and not destroy the basic integrity of the guitar.

Since my recent financial woes I have had to sell a few guitars.

I wondered what one would value such guitars at, as they are definitely improved over 'stock' and were worked on by one of the countries top young luthiers who died way way too young. He has left his 'touch' on these guitars, with the work on the fingerboards and frets, plus the upgrading in my opinion to the Gotoh hardware, the Nashville bridge and conventional 'G' type stop tail piece which Heritage offered soon after I had mine modded in this way.

These are the finest Les Paul type guitars I have played, leaving out the ex-'52 Goldtop.

There was special mojo put into these guitars by the Heritage builders and the early EMG's from those years sound especially fine and compliment the guitar magnificently.

Thanks again for making me feel more comfortable here.

Thanks again
