Guest HRB853370 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I LOVE VWB! I want a VWB! I still say that there is a subtle beauty that is lost in a photograph of that finish. Maybe it's lost in the monitor, I don't know, but when I hold one in my hand I can see the depth, the subtle beauty of the finish. When it catches the light just right it takes my breath away. AMEN!
pegleg32 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 That is a fine looking guitar. I would love to see it in person.

DetroitBlues Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Dave, why is it I keep having to prove you wrong? Does this change your "IMO"? Nope, I need to see it in person... Need my mailing address, there is a really good shipping company available...
sykofiddle Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Well I've been playing the 530 for a couple of hours now. Slammer's looks darn close to mine. I'll shoot some pics next to a three tone strat and a neutral background for comparison. The TV Jones are a whole other beast. I started with them on 10 and they were snarly, growly, chimey, almost p-90ish. At seven they're perfect for me. Nice and bright, still fat, just a little bit of breakup. There is a very faint almost tremolo effect to the pickups naturally, if that makes any sense. The neck is to die for, for me.
skydog52 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Looks like someone put a stamp on her back! I'm sure she could deliver a nice wood package.
