HenrikB Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 With my band, Inman Hill. These are taken before I modded the H-137 with a bigsby and soapbar Lollar 50's: Rockefeller music hall, Oslo, September 2011 Beitostølen, Valdres, July 2011
JackBaruth Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Playing a Christmas gig at a local country club with my Spruce Eagle Classic Korina H-357 with my brother at some blues thing "Pagey" at a house party
yoslate Posted June 24, 2012 Author Posted June 24, 2012 So...now having leaned (Thank you Fred, and Mrs. Yoslate!) how to download pics, I'm compelled to inflict myself on you. But I started this thread, then couldn't deliver.... These were taken by my best friend, Alex Forsyth. He's photographed everyone...no, really. The top three, on the left, were taken at a fundraiser for The Blues Hall of Fame building, proposed by The Blues Foundation. Bottom and right were at The International Blues Challenge, in Memphis, in February, at Arthur's, on Beale Street. Thrilling to play there! That 535 is just the best guitar, ever!
H Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 So...now having leaned (Thank you Fred, and Mrs. Yoslate!) how to download pics, I'm compelled to inflict myself on you. Rob, welcome to the 21st century Seriously, it's very nice to see you with your 'weapon of mass destruction' in hand!
FredZepp Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 It was worth the wait , Rob. Those pics capture the oneness of the player and his instrument... and the beauty of the Heritage craftsmanship.
Gitfiddler Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Great photos, Rob! Looks like you are definitely feelin' the groove!
Steiner Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 YosLate - I have a photo of you playing at PSP. You have that classic, stoic, guitar player pose that screams musician - although Millennium Maestro is giving you some stiff competition. I love the way you simultaneously embody Charlie Sheen with the bowling shirt. Those that can pull it off with your class and caliber are few and far between. The heavens shine down on those who can own a hollowbody...
fxdx99 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Whoa Rob - those are some great pics. btw... hang with me a bit at PSP and I'll show you a chord other than Am7
yoslate Posted June 25, 2012 Author Posted June 25, 2012 Whoa Rob - those are some great pics. btw... hang with me a bit at PSP and I'll show you a chord other than Am7 Randy, that'd be great! Then I'd know two chords! And Gregg, you flatter me unduly. If you'll look at the PSP pic, you'll notice that what I'm actually doing is trying to figure out how a pick works.... Perplexing; too many moving parts!
tulk1 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 By my count I saw a D and a G. So I'm assuming Randy is going to show you an E chord to complete the set. Nice shots, btw
JeffB Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Great photos of the Heritages in action. Good thread.
Millennium Maestro Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Why would anyone play anything other than a Heritage?? Getting it on!! BurnUnit style!
FredZepp Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Getting it on!! BurnUnit style! Indeed. That looks like a good time.
DetroitBlues Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 That some awesome shots there MM!!! Love the finish on that guitar!
