HenrikB Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Those guys over in Kalamazoo sure know flametops! This one sings like a banshee... Seymour duncan "pearly gates" buckers.
tulk1 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 That one will make you sit up and take notice, for sure. Nice!
yoslate Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Those guys over in Kalamazoo sure know flametops! Heh...! That's right...!
FredZepp Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 That's a great look ... and the P Gates pickups should work nicely in that. And it even has reflector knobs. Nice One.
DetroitBlues Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Yup, they sure know how to make them. Congrats!
Spectrum13 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 They know how to make them and you know how to get one! Super Enjoy!
Blunote Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'm guessing it's Almond Sunburst. Good looking guitar. It's nice to see them getting more well known overseas.
big bob Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 better shots of the guitar stand in photo one please, just joking. That's a beauty.
HenrikB Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 thanks guys! This one really blew me away... At first I had mixed feelings about the "slim taper-ish" neck, but I've gotten used to it and it plays like a hot knife through butter now. The Pearly Gates PU's really rock, but I'm more of a mellow fellow so I'm thinking about popping in a set of throbak PG-102s so I can get my "Peter Green" on.
DetroitBlues Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'd leave the Pearly Gates in the Bridge and change the neck to a Seth Lover... Sounds great in my semi-hollow body...
H Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Or drop the pickups down in the mounts, it's amazing how this can tame a bit of raucousness in a pickup
