535 pickguard needed

Just when I stopped looking for a second 535, one popped up that seems right. Now I need a black pickguard, preferably the wooden one.

Anybody got one of those hanging around?

Yes, mine is literally "hanging" on to the front of my 535! Not going anywhere either.

There are a few folks that like to play their guitars without "protection", but I'm guessing most keep them in the case in case of later sale. Are you looking for the traditional Heritage style or the Wolfe rounded style? You might check with Jay to see if he has any spares.

What color is the new 535? Is it targeted for use in one of the tribute shows or just for general playing?

I just went without protection after my last string change. Seeing what I think. Jury's still out

Honestly, the flamed pointy pickguard on my 535 is entirely responsible for my being here. It lept out at me as I scanned a wall in a resale shop, made me pause, pull the guitar from the wall....and I've dedicated many hours and many dollars to The Heritage ever since.

Both the pickguard and the headstock, problems for some, are two features I love about these guitars.

Oh, and no, I don't have one!

I have a pointy opaque black one on my 555, but prefer the gib / Wolfe style reund cone. If anybidy has recs on finding one, I could free up the current guard.
