Lkdog Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Am looking at this one. Seems to be a little high priced, but nice. He thinks he has HRW pickups in it. http://www.thegearpa...hlight=heritage What is story on this stoptail? Can it be swapped for a regular stopbar? Or- are they considered to be good? Have no clue. Thanks.
pegleg32 Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 That is a beautiful guitar. It is usual that a guitar that is fit with HRW pickups will have a dot on the end of the pickup selector switch. Since this doesn't have one, it could still be HRW's, but I would want to look at the bottom of them to confirm. HRW pickups do bring a premium and are not made anymore.
DetroitBlues Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 As far as the bridge goes, that's a schaller roller bridge and tailpiece. Very common for older heritages.
Genericmusic Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 To me the price seems fair. By no means is it a deal but average. Nice looking though. I wonder how it plays?
