ridethatbike Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Just talked to Jay Wolfe for awhile, and I got this: http://www.gbase.com/gear/heritage-millennium-158-2007-dark-almond-burs# I'm pretty excited, and I'm sure it's going to take a long time to get here from Florida. It's my first Heritage, so I'm FINALLY in the club. Now I'll have to save some money and get that H-157 I've been dreaming about too... GAS. It never stops. ;-)
tulk1 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 So glad to see the Millie's getting their deserved recognition. And Dark Almond Burst - yeah, baby Its a beauty.
GASguy Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I looked at photos of that one several times; judging from the pictures it looks like a sound repair job. It is also reassuring to have a reputable dealer vouch for both the repairer and the repair itself. Its a beautiful Heritage.
TalismanRich Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 You're going to like that thing when it arrives. Milles are easy on the back, sound WONDERFUL, and if you prefer the feel of an LP size vs the semi it's perfect.
tbonesullivan Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 H-158's are awesome. All you are missing is a bigsby! Is that one of the "classic" models? Does it have a flat back or an arched back?
ridethatbike Posted June 27, 2012 Author Posted June 27, 2012 Thanks all. My estimated delivery is Tuesday, and that is way too far away. Ug. At least I still have my Dot to play. For now. I have a feeling I'll be sending the Dot down the road once this pearl comes in!
DetroitBlues Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 You must of got a great deal on that. Looks awesome congrats!
Keith7940236 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Congratulations, that's a really beautiful guitar

My GAS has ended for good! Its such a relief knowing nothing tempts you anymore! And, nice Millie!!
pegleg32 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Put the pedal to the metal big brown truck. That looks like a beauty. Glad to have a new member aboard also!!! Welcome.
blueox Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Jumpin' Jupiter! You'll get it just in time to plug in and set off some fireworks for the 4th. Congratulations on your first Heritage!

bolero Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 wow that's a nice one!! I thought Millie's were model 155? but this clearly says 158 confused *edit* maybe 158 = f hole millie? 155 = solid top millie? in any case...CONGRATULATIONS!
schundog Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 my solid top Millenium is an H-155; not sure about the F-Holed bretheren.
tulk1 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Neither of my Millie's has had an H designation. Just Millennium. Weird, eh?
tbonesullivan Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 My Millie is also an H-158. It's listed as "classic". It's got an arched back, single cut, and no electronics access plate.
FredZepp Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Beautiful and ... full of tone, I'm sure. Nice one.
DetroitBlues Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 My Millie is also an H-158. It's listed as "classic". It's got an arched back, single cut, and no electronics access plate. I remember seeing a 150 that had that "custom made" plate on it at Elderly....
