Keith7940236 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Just arrived today, my new 1993 Almond Sunburst Golden Eagle. I'm taking it to the luthier tomorrow for a set up. It's really in fantastic shape and looks almost unplayed. I was surprised when I unpacked it as the case looks like it's new. It sounds beautiful both unplugged and through my Polytone. http://s1048.photobu...current=145.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=146.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=147.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=148.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=149.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=150.jpg http://s1048.photobu...current=152.jpg
Hfan Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Congrats. I love the clouds and the Eagle and the stinger, multi piece neck, very sweet guitar. And the case looks like it's new, looks like it has been well cared for. Where'd you find it if you don't mind me asking.
Guest HRB853370 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Beautiful. That headstock is HUGE, but I guess its the angle of the photo too!
schundog Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Hubba Hubba! Beautiful. When I look at what these beauties cost, it makes me glad that I can appreciate them for what they are, but I only G.A.S. for mainly solidbody or Semi-Hollows. Enjoy this one. It's ready to finally be played, after nearly 20 years!
High Flying Bird Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 As stunning as these guitars are, and we see them all the time, there is nothing like looking at a rack of them at the factory. Beautiful guitar and photos too. Congrats Keef!
FredZepp Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I really like the pics.... that is a beautiful guitar in a very nice setting. It really shows off the finish.
SouthpawGuy Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 That's another fine guitar ! Congrats, play it in good health.
Spook410 Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 And nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. You're going to enjoy that one for a long time.
