High Flying Bird Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I bet you spend a lot of time at joes.... but do you "eat at joes"? sorry...i had to ;D No. The guys I play with are either divorced, twice in both cases, or single. They grill slabs of meat to a little over being raw and eat it bloody. They stick their fingers into the pickle jars after wielding their "gherkins" in the bathroom. On Sunday morning one of them will be sure to come down with some kind of gut bug. Of course all of those "Dead Guy's" or "Sierra's" have nothing to do with it. I am far, far, from being the man of manners....as some of you will find out "later this week" but I can't eat like that. "Well, we are going to cook some meat." "Nah, I think I will eat with Linda and the girls, thanks." For being animals like that we should be a better band. I guess I am holding the rest of them back.

big bob Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 finaly found the guy who made it ,this is what he had to say Yes, that is definitely one of mine. Great to see it again! It is a copy of a Rickenbacher. I have all my notes on it. It was ordered by a guy named, Van Norian on 3/10/1978. It was finished 5/26/1978. In looks to be in the original shape from what I can tell from your photo. How did you find me, and where are you? I am always curious as to hear about the path in which my guitars have traveled. Thanks, -John Kinnard just a quick Jonh Kinnard is master luthier and co owner of Dell Arte guitars, He made this guitar when he co owned Heritage Guitar Works yours truly bob.

Hey bob, great piece of detective work ! I did a google search on John Kinnard , he has a website http://www.johnkinnard.com/about.html Interesting site with some nice pics of his work. http://www.johnkinnard.com/heritage.html "Later in the seventies, John and his then business partner, Peter Webster, owned Heritage Guitar Works, located in Clovis, CA. While there, John began restoring vintage stringed instruments. " John S.
