MartyGrass Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Heritage restored some spots on the finish and put Fralin P92s lower winds (8200 and 9200 winds compared to the original P90s that had 10,000 winds in the neck and bridge). They did an all around excellent job. Jack French did the detail work. This guitar does not look 22 years old. The P92s definitely have a single coil sound that is clear and articulate yet has decent mids. They are completely silent when they're supposed to be. I really like the sound. This is a chestnut burst and is the first Millie Eagle 2000 Heritage made. The last picture captures the reflection of Sasquatch. Apparently he was standing behind me and vanished before I noticed him.
Kuz Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Very, very, very nice Mark!!!! Wow, that turned out incredible and I love the look of the staggered pole pieces on the pups. As for the last pic with Big Foot..... That is bad a$$ cool and kind of creepy at the same time.
Steiner Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 It appears there are many fingerprints adorning the treasure. not just a beautiful guitar but, obviously, a guitar that is difficult to put down.
FredZepp Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Looks great.... it's great to take it to Parsons Street for the revitalizing of that beautiful instrument.....
big bob Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Your math skills are being called into question, 2012- 2000 = 12 I guess they will let anybody be a doctari now... Just bustin your chops..
skydog52 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Wow! Everything about that is great. Especially the rare 3 piece neck.
RJLII Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Is that the actual proto or the first production model? I ask 'cause I got a chance to play the proto (also a sunburst) for a couple minutes back in 1999/2000 when I took my H-550 to the factory for work. Ren says "look what we're working on. We're going to call it Millennium" and hands it to me. Wow.
MartyGrass Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Ist production. I have heard of the prototype but haven't seen it.
Gitfiddler Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Congratulations on your long awaited first edition Millie!! The boys did a magnificent job. Play it in good health.
