brentrocks Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Jack and i did a trade Thursday night at the country inn.....1989 H 555. Factory stock except for the truss rod cover (thanks Steiner!) Schaller hardware, Schaller pups, Grovers, one piece flame maple neck, ebony board. Its BA!!! I do need a hard case for this though...if anybody has a 535/555 case they are willing to sell....give me a jingle!!!!
PunkKitty Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 It's a gorgeous guitar, Brent. It sounds great too.
DetroitBlues Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 If you don't mind an Epiphone logo, you can go to Sweetwater, they have that style for $80 shipped.
DavesNotHere Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 That is beautiful. There was a 335 Heritage case on Gbase a little while ago. It may still be there. If I remember correctly, it was under $100.
Blunote Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Sounds like some cash he can use to chase that Heritage Victory amp that's listed on C-list. Happy hunting, Jack.
heritagefan7 Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Awesome Brent---Great look in the pics--& bet it's even more beautiful in person! Congrats!
brentrocks Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 And what did jack end up with? A Gibson Explorer

TalismanRich Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 thanks man! its quite the unique 555. i was thinking of converting it to chrome hardware, but after playing it a couple days, i think ill leave it alone I just don't understand the aversion to that absolutely stunning gold hardware. It complements that green finish perfectly. HALF of my Heritages have gold hardware! I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes you just need a little bling.
FredZepp Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 That's a beautiful 555.... great combination of the green finish and the gold hardware. And a sweet neck. Personally, I'd go with black speed knobs, but I know that's not your thing.....
tulk1 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 thanks man! its quite the unique 555. i was thinking of converting it to chrome hardware, but after playing it a couple days, i think ill leave it alone Well, that lasted all of one day. How do you like TV Jones pickups?
hotfordcoupe Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Wow, I'd love to have a guitar that color. It really stands out. Enjoy.
brentrocks Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 Well, that lasted all of one day. How do you like TV Jones pickups? They are pretty sweet. I'll get clip up soon.
SouthpawGuy Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Love the green and gold combo, works well with the 555 inlays, extra fine ! Congrats !
