So, (sounding like DB here), I sold some drums out of my storage unit and this is what I have coming in. Does that qualify as one in one out? Of course, this was NOT a result of GAS. No possible way that attending PSPV, visiting 225 Parsons Street, or seeing Bird's 137 with that pretty tailpiece, or admiring Blankstaircase's newly won 137 had ANYTHING to do with this acquisition. Like I have stated many times, unequivocally, I AM GAS FREE!

This gal is stock with the exception of an aircraft aluminum tailpiece that has saddle adjustments for intontation, and an Access adjustable interior hard shell case, seller claims is expensive. Two very slight checks in the finish, seller claims came from the factory this way.

What is that average weight of a H 137? Just curious.

Very nice Will.. I'd expect the weight to be under 8lbs. being a solid mahogany body guitar. What's up with the second fret position on the fretboard. Looks like some sort of stripe? She looks like a beauty, just add a pickguard and she's all set! Congrats!

I didn't notice that before and it shows up in another photo too, which now has me wondering. Let me check on this and report back. It was not disclosed if it is indeed a stripe.

That's only a shaft of light, notice the band of light across the case ....

My 2006 137 weighs 9lbs, and it's a tone monster, has Fralin noise free P-90s installed

Nice catch, Will!

Enjoy that toneful toy.

And remember...Stay 100% GAS FREE AND LOVIN IT!

I intend to Tim!! No going back on my word, I promise. Sounds like a politician, eh?

Thank you Southpaw for that sigh of relief. You have a good set of eyes!

BTW the seller called the tailpiece a "pigtail". I would have preferred "hogtail" but that is my Harley Davidson mind at work.

No Gas Gio. I promise, GAS had NOTHING to do with this. It was pure accident.

I am not getting the Hen-joy? I must be thick.

Not sure how selling gear to acquire another Guitar, not be gas, as you just acquired a guitar that you didn't need, but wanted. Which by practical purposes, is the premise behind G.A.S. Now if someone just gave you a guitar just because that you didn't ask for, that would be different... You're beyond G.A.S. Will, you have an even worse problem... A real bad case of GAWD. Guitar Acquisition Withdrawal Denial.... There might be a 12 step program for that...

I'd like to think my avatar had something to do with it. ;) Looks like a good 'un, enjoy!

Ok, so now you bust my chops and even go to the extent of telling me I bought a guitar I didn't even need! If you want to go that route, I don't NEED ANY of my guitars, Heritage's included. I may suprise you and sell it all.

No problem. For a guy that has no GAS you're full of it.

GAS that is.

PSPV cable mystery solved. I am staring at this photo and the cable end plugged into my 535. That is definitely a Carvin cable end. In my drunken stupor Thursday evening at the hotel, I mistakenly thought I had brought my Peavey Cable and instead brought the Carvin Cable. Duh! Which explains why DB found a Carvin cable, unaccounted for near his amp. That was my cable, it just got unplugged (somehow) from my amp, possibly borrowed for a tune or so, then laid on top of DB's amp. I further verified this to be true because I only owned one Carvin cable and I still only have one!

Thanks Fredzep!

Hmm, that's good news Will! That explains a lot. All is well that ends well... Cable mystery solved, 137 GAS resolved, and now we can all just celebrate.
