another "after" shot. Light plays such games with this finish. I swear it looks at least three different colors.

going cream REALLY changes the look. But more importantly, it sounds FANTASTIC

I have made big differences in the look of my guitars by changing out gadgets. It makes a difference.

As for the light reflecting off the finish... I don't know what camera you have but if it will take a polarizer filter get one. You can eliminate the glare with those things - and some good photography basics. Your close as it is. They do look so nice with light shinning on them. I like the upgrade.

Here is my best work.

Finally took some decent photos. Still not up to par with some of you, but begins to do the guitar justice. After a couple weeks, and a proper set up, man, am I happy. I'v spent sooo much time considering options and appearance. I'm very rarely completely happy with my decisions. But this is the exception. I'm lovin' it.

Nice photos, kidsmoke :) Did it take you a long time to buff it up like that?

My intention was to take the turle wax/Mothers powerball approach Brent champions. But I didn't. My tech cleaned her up during her fret dress and set up last week.

I've not owned an SLR in the digital age. Had a wonderful Nikon, with all the toys, back in the day. Currently I'm limited to a point and shoot. so filters and a limited depth of field aren't really available to me.

I've told you before what I think of the that gold top, and that photo. both are of the hook, in my opinion!

thanks for looking!

I tip my hat to you for the work you've done in styling and executing this. It's no mean feat to swap out the harness in a semi-hollow: I taught myself several new swear words when I did it ;)

When I burned the back of my 137 changing out the pots and wiring I almost puked. I had rather get kicked in the nuts than swap out the pups on a hollow body. I only had to pay $125.00 to avoid the swift kick. Luckily I was 3 weeks out of Kzoo with the 137. Nice buffing rig they have.

My Shep arrived , exactly 5 weeks for it to come in as per his website he was right on . I went for the "raw" cover and here she is with a David King Maple p/u ring .

I also got some custom Aluminum jack plates from Dave at fretsonthenet . Pretty sure I'm going to use the raw one on a upcoming kit build . And lastly the mojoaxe compensated wrap-around came in , I have not heard it yet but by all accounts they are excellent , and it sure looks nice.
