its gonna need a lot of TLC....tear down, buff, clean, fret polish, etc....it has a headstock repair, but it was just a repaired crack, not a full break. should be pretty cool.

OH yeah... 1985 vintage Heritage instrument. I love when they have some miles on them.

You are the right person to bring this one back to life, Brent.... Good Luck.

Is that the ebay auction that ended today? If so I was looking at that 170 also! It went for a song...

Way to go Brent, another fine acquisition from the House of Brent.

It arrived today and once i opened the case, I knew i was in for a lot of work. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned in 20 years. There is a lot of honest play wear, and of course the headstock repair, which was done very well. I completely dissassembled the guitar and gave it a buff job. Installed new pots, capasitor and pickups.

Perfect! Did you see the new EVH Wolfgang hardtail uses the schaller tailpiece Heritage used to use?

That thing looks cool. What's the process for fixing that type of headstock break?

thanks man!

i didnt fix the headstock, it was already done...

since it wasnt a full break, all you have to do is spread the crack, inject it with tightbond wood glue, clamp it, wipe off exesses glue, let is set for a couple days, buff.....you should be good to go (G to G)
