soundsbeyondspecs Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Hello to all and thank you for your posts,After reading many great posts and seeing a Doc for nearly going cross-eyed, I purchased a like-new, one-owner 2003 H-535 in Tobacco Sunburst with Antiquities. Your recommendations led me to this great tone machine and I thank you all. I'm practicing through a Swart Atomic Space Tone 22-watt tube combo and occasionally through the matching Swart FuzzyBoost.DanHere's the completed Ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com/...7#ht_626wt_1182
DetroitBlues Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Love that finish, congrats and welcome to the forum!
Keith7940236 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Tobacco sunburst is a beautiful finish. Congratulations
bgrand Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Awesome! I had my eye on that listing, but ended up not bidding. I'm glad you got it.
kidsmoke Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Wow. EXACTLY the upgrade I would wish for a 535. Bound and Inlaid headstock, done. Sweet. And Welcome.
H Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Welcome to the HOC and congratulations on a fine first Heritage  Your guitar is finished in Old Style Sunburst (OSB), one of Heritage's nicest and my favourite
Horace Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 A classic beauty ! Play it like crazy. Welcome the the HOC.
hotfordcoupe Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 You can't beat that one with a stick. Good luck and congrats. Welcome to the HOC.
Spectrum13 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 All the right options on that 535. Just killer beautiful semi.
tulk1 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Tobacco Sunburst? Does it actually say that on the label inside the guitar? Looks like Sunset Burst to me. But honestly ... who cares? That thing is gorgeous. What a way to get into Heritage guitars. Awesome.

H Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Â Â Definitely not sunsetburst. I didnt know Heritage had tobaccoburst. As I said further back in the thread, I think it's OSB. Tobacco burst is a Gibson colour.
yoslate Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 That's as nice a 535 as I've seen! Congrats on a great purchase. Play that baby! My 535 is the best guitar I've ever owned...going away.
tulk1 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 As I said further back in the thread, I think it's OSB. Tobacco burst is a Gibson colour. I think Wolfe ordered a few H's with the term Tobacco Burst. But yeah, that's a Gibs color designation. Could be OBS. I originally looked at this thread on my Droid. Looks totally different on the computer. Whatever it actually is called, it's one gorgeous 535.
skydog52 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Welcome aboard. You certainly started with a nice one! Enjoy
pressure Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Fab 535. Congrats. Love the pickguard. Are those wooden tuner keys?
Hfan Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 If I was to have one built that is the finish I'd pick. Reminds me of the 335's in the Muscians Friend catalog I received today bu 10X nicer. Beautiful. And antiquities kill in a 535. Welcome to our cult.
