150LW GAS

This is stronger than the 357 GAS at the moment. In a way I regret selling the 170LW. But in a way I don't. I really want a burst 150LW. They appear to be pretty rare. I might even be willing to trade my Prospect for one.

GAS is a bitch.

The problem is that my taste has gotten better and therefore more expensive.

I find this to be true in every category of my life. Wine, drums, guitars, tequila, trucks, motorcycles, suits, jackets, and so on.

Actually, I was buying Gibsons before I ever heard of Heritage so actually for me, in that category the guitar cost went down while the quality went up so I guess that doesn't count.

As I've mentioned once or twice my 2003 150 is not an LW, it weighs 8.2lbs. And yes I've checked, it's solid.

There are lighter solid 150's out there ....

If I can find one, a lighter solid 150 would be very nice. But it seems that most are in the 9.5 - 11 pound range.

Not doubting you at all SPG, it just strikes me as funny(haha) that a LW guitar can be heavier than a guitar theyre trying to make a light weight version of.

Tell me about it ! First time I took it out of the case I actually thought it was an LW model so I took the rear control cover off and checked.

Then I checked again the next day ... to be sure to be sure :icon_sunny:

And before I'm hit with the "useless without pics" ...

They make a special version for Irish guys as they dont weigh much.

Well, what do you think of the H 110? They are really light weight (unless you specifically tell them not to do that) and if you are already accustomed to the switch and pots how they are placed on the H 170, the H 110 appears to have the same configuration. The H 150 will (obviously) have the switch up top instead of next tot he pots and you have 2 tones and 2 volumes instead of 2 volume and just 1 tone. Not only is the H 110 body chambered but it is also thinner. Rim thickness - 1 5/8” as opposed to the 2 inch thickness of the H 150.
