Gillnetter Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I recently purchased a used a 96 H150 and it is an awesome guitar. It was rode pretty hard before I got it but it plays perfect. This guitar through my Mesa Lonestar is a perfect match. No pedals needed. I think I am now lusting for the H140 that is posted by Detroit blues. Sold on Heritage guitars
chico Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 yep they have that effect.. welcome to the cult
DetroitBlues Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 That is a sharp looking 150. Is that a really dark rosewood or an ebony fretboard?
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Thats a purdy 150 and welcome aboard. Definitely buy Detroit Blues 140 goldtop, it is a sweet sweet guitar at a great price! Plus you won't find a more honest and forthright guy to deal with. (I wont use the term "standup guy" as I have seen him sit.
blueox Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Congratulations on your first Heritage! That's a classic one to begin with.

tulk1 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Nice guitar. Good choice on amp, too. I gigged my LS for a couple of years. As I got older, it got heavier. But it's still here. A keeper, for sure. And welcome to the HoC.

kidsmoke Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Beautiful guitar. Welcome to the HOC, and yeah, Help DB out on that 140!!
212Mavguy Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Welcome, sir! You have it right, can't have just one. DB's 140 is a highly covetable instrument. And this forum has quite a few members who occasionally buy low, recondition, and sell exquisite instruments for best on the planet values, better than eBay prices and seller reliability as SOP. Others share their custom orders in resale with their HOC brethren having first shot, I had that wonderful experience to obtain a one off custom build Heritage. I can think of one member I greatly admire for his passionately written words and superb equipment knowledge/musical performing talents that recently experienced seller's remorse, graciously shared to his amusement and others here in his posting signature...he sold his personal custom Heritage build, I was guilty of desiring that instrument some. So it's easy to end up with a few more of these amazing guitars than you were originally planning on. GAS is a serious hazard here. :~)
