kidsmoke Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Very cool! Marv's got a sense of humor. Never seen those.
fxdx99 Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Ha! Very... spinal. Bumping to eleven hundred and FIVE buckaroonies...

kidsmoke Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Only a 357 can do that... Do we have a quorum for that position? 'cause I'm ordering a set for my 535 if not!
Steiner Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Do we have a quorum for that position? 'cause I'm ordering a set for my 535 if not! Agreed, I have a 575 Mahogany so equipped AND the amp! Welcome aboard Kidsmoke. I always knew there was something I liked about you Eljay!
Bonefish Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 @slammer - I had to look at the pic a number of times before I realized the magnitude of awesome that picture revealed.
High Flying Bird Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Katie gave me a set of these for my 137. I told my buddies that it was a performance upgrade.
Gitfiddler Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 That is very cool! Only Heritage would do something like that on a custom order without even telling the customer. Very cool indeed.
tbonesullivan Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I wonder... wasn't the story that originally they were sent the knobs that go to 11 by mistake, and never really noticed until someone told them? Or am I thinking of something else?
DetroitBlues Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Do we have a quorum for that position? 'cause I'm ordering a set for my 535 if not! Yep, 535 need not apply... They can't handle 11.
kbp810 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 It takes a marvel of physics and engineering to get a guitar or amp to go to 11; why the theoretical equations alone would make even the greatest mathematician's head spin... let alone trying to show the proofs. I hired a crack team of engineers and physicists, fresh out of MIT, to try and implement this on my guitars and amps - it took many long days and sleepless nights, but alas we eventually ran dry on grant money and could not find further funding to continue. Then one day my brother n law came over to drink a few beers and play some guitar when he looked down at an H170 and said "Holy $#*&, this guitar goes to 11!" - I couldn't believe it, evidence was right there standing before me! Now that we have a guitar to study and reverse engineer, the mysterious and awesomely bad @$$ "eleven" is almost within our grasps... people of the HOC, we are almost there, soon there will be "Elevens" for all! I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat to hear from the nobel prize committee.
Steiner Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I believe it's buried in the prime numbers - 1 3 5 7 THEN 11. The secret is buried in that big gap between 7 and 11. That's where the "1 more" boost comes through.. If only Einstein was still alive...
kbp810 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Should I mention that my 5E3 goes to 12? Yes, but you are on the metric system, so it's not the same
