H525 with wound G string

Hello,

I'm a happy new owner of a new H525.

It came with a wound G string. It's been years since I've played these.

Of course it doesn't stretch well but I really kind of like them, for a change.

Anyone know what strings these are, that come with new guitar?

(They're not flat wound.)

Most likely GHS if it was bought new from a dealer. Can we see photos? Congrats!

Paul, my 525 came from the factory with wound 10's. I promptly pulled them and exchanged them for a set of 11 flat wounds. They suit my playing style and very limited jazz chops just fine.

 

As Slammer noted, the strings were most likely GHS since that's what goes on most Heritages.
