jacques Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 An excerpt from a little tune I played @ home without the uploading hassle (I hope) like with the bboom audio clips...
SouthpawGuy Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Very tasty playing Jacques ... hints of Frank Gambale perhaps ? Love that modal style of "open" playing. Great tone from the 535, like your touch. Karma up again I'm afraid !
brentrocks Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Sounds great Jacques!!! lots of natural light in that room...i bet that is nice!
mars_hall Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Exceptionally nice. Very efficient in getting a groove out there. No clutter and nice phrasing. You good.
Kuz Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Very nice "J", not over the top, just right amount of in/out of the pocket. Very cool 8)
JeffB Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Nice. You get great tones. What amp were you using? Good idea using youtube
jacques Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 Nice. You get great tones. What amp were you using?Good idea using youtube  Hey, thanks fellas for your positive replies  This medium seems an easier way to share some sounds, I guess (and it works probably more effective to demonstrate the quality of the Heritage guitars, which is my main goal) The amp is the smallest Fender amp you could buy in the seventies, it is the 6 watt Vibro Champ with one 6V6 tube to do it all. I've added my usual DD6 from Boss for some delay and the Fulltone Fulldrive2 for the distortion - an excellent companion for the H535. For vintage feel I record with a vacuum tube microphone.
