DetroitBlues Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Who supplies Heritage with their custom Fretboards?
Kuz Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 You mean custom inlays within the Heritage fretboard?
DetroitBlues Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 Yep... I can't remember who they send them to.
Guest HRB853370 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 It is a company in the UK, I know that for sure.
DetroitBlues Posted September 21, 2012 Author Posted September 21, 2012 Thought it was a local company in Michigan.

Steiner Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I know of a Metro D guy who said he can do it. I'll PM his info when I rediscover it
kidsmoke Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I mentioned in another thread, I had a meandering conversation with Ray, the fretboard guy, and he was showing me the various boards (i'm sure many others had similar discussions with him) but he did say that the clouds and other custom inlays came from a company in the southern US. He didn't mention the UK or Michigan. Maybe PK remembers....she was part of the discussion.
FredZepp Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 This company does most of Heritage's inlay work; http://www.custominlay.com/. You might want to contact them. They are reasonable people and do good work. I would guess that one needs to replace the finger board for the inlays. There are some companies that make fretboard decals. You'll have to search the web for them to see what is available. http://www.heritageownersclub.com/forums/topic/18025-custom-inlay-work-at-heritage/page__p__235135__hl__+inlays%20+company__fromsearch__1?do=findComment&comment=235135
skydog52 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I've purchased a couple boards from them and a bunch of truss rod covers. Excellent to work with. Very friendly and helpful.
