...when they let you take their vintage Marshall amp while he goes on vacation!

A late 60s Marshall BluesBreaker 2x12! I couldnt wait to plug it in!

The BluesBreaker is killer Brent! I'll bet you had fun with it. The ThroBak is no slouch either. Thanks for the comparison!

Ha... cool end there, Brently.

And not a bad sound coming from either amp...

. in this comparison I prefered the old Marshall slightly. But then again, with some time spent on it , you could probably dial in really close to that tone on the Thobak also.

Any pedals or effects Brent? Did you have to crank them to get that sweet breakup? Must of been loud!

Hey, no GT cables? What gives?

i was in fact using GT cables

wow, how did I miss this???

hhaha, I thought it was just a still image, until brent walked into frame...I couldn't see any cords either :D

thx for posting, very interesting to hear them side by side. the trobak is a little crunchier but I bet the jtm45 isn't cranked as much?

what speaker is in the throbak?

and what reverb pedal were you using?

Both killer amps. Weight for weight ... I'll take the ThroBak, thank you. And agreed with Fred, that 18w amp with some tweaking would be right there with the BB.
