noonesperfect Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 I understand that LW means "light weight" and involves a one-piece chambered back and rim. What does CM designate? Are there other designations that point to customizations? I couldn't find anything on the Heritage site, and the search engine here won't let me search on the two-letter "CM" item. Pardon the noob question - I'm sure I'll have more as I learn about Heritage guitars, and I appreciate everyone's knowledge and patience. Thanks. brad
AP515 Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Hi Brad, Curly Maple, it is the designation for the maple cap on top.
noonesperfect Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 So simple once you point it out. Thanks! brad
chico Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 Hey Brad welcome to HOC and no question is bad here yes CM is "curly maple" which is the standard H150 top. deviation could be goldtop or black (not to be confused with translucent black). Ultra would be the description for a top that is "curly maple" but highly figured and an upcharge. usually seen on the H157 models Most "curly maple" has some flame.
