That's a pretty rare one , I'd bet.

 

VG price book lists a MRK-2 Rhythm King made from '71-'74... early drum machine.

 

It may be kind of funky.. and that may be cool... or perhaps not at all . I'd check it out if it were cheap.

 

I've got an old Maestro Sustainer laying around here somewhere.. but it doesn't work anymore, I'd like to get that working just to have some fun.

 

They also made a Theramin at one point , that would be a blast.

JJ Cale used something like that run into a mic'd fender amp on Naturally. Dont know if it was that exact model but its the same vintage/era.

yeah that is a cool album..."the river runs deep" is one of my faves on it

Various web sources claim that Sly used a Maestro Rhythm King, usually citing the album There's a Riot Goin On. Listened to a couple of tracks and it COULD be true...
