bluesgolfer Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Happy to say, I just scored a 2009 Almond burst 535 with Seth Lovers off of ebay last night while watching the debate. When it arrives, I'll visibly inspect it and then run it over to Mike Koontz for further inspection to make sure everything is sound, i.e., no neck warp, no need for refret etc. I guess, now I do meet the criteria to be on this forum. I have to thank a lot of you people for providing me with insight during the past few days regarding Heritage guitars as it helped me make an informed purchase. Next will be a 140 or 150. I like neck binding and thicker necks so I guess an older model with a thinner neck is out of the question.
Keith7940236 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Congratulations, I look forward to pictures of your new baby!

Lol, if owning a Heritage is the only means to be a member of this forum, my membership would be a revolving door! Congrats! Post the pics when it gets in!

bluesgolfer Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Not a good picture, but, not a good photographer. Not a blemish on this 2009. Wasn't sure I would like the Almond burst but it is a really nice color. Very rich looking and it shows the wood grain very well. Plays so easy.
bluesgolfer Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Is there a way to edit or delete our posts? I went back to photobucket and realized I could make this smaller but I don't know how to delete or edit my prior post.

bluesgolfer Posted October 11, 2012 Author Posted October 11, 2012 Smaller? Who needs smaller when it's a guitar pic? I just thought a little smaller would fit the screen a little better. The pic doesn't really do it justice. Looks much nicer in the flesh. I can see why people like the 535 so much. Very versatile.
