High Flying Bird Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 Don't get too wrapped around the axle with sustain issues. I don't think I would ever need to use an Ab for much let alone letting it ring out with sustain. These guitars were made to be played through an amp. We all brag about our guitars sustain and then try and play each note as fast as we can, not using our beloved sustain. Is this something hurting your music or your "guitar tester" evaluations? I remember when I was learning photography there were people of Fred Miranda's forum taking photos of newspapers and bitching about the lens not being sharp. Others took real life photos and found the same lenses to me amazingly sharp. Don't test a tool too much. Use it.

DetroitBlues Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 .... Don't test a tool too much. Use it. Hmm, there is so much I could say about that statement, none of which relate to playing guitar... But I'll keep this rated PG.... So back to guitars and gear: I've stopped testing my effects and amps so I could focus on playing....
