gtrnstuff Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c228/gtrnstuff/HeritageParsonsStreet2.jpg[/img] http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c228/gtrnstuff/HeritageParsonsStreet1.jpg[/img] Or was this just a prototype? The truss rod cover says "Parsons Street". I confess to having the neck pickup rout enlarged to make room for the humbucker. Originally H/S/S, and only one strap button! The serial # begins with an H , so it's from 1991. Nice and light, functions pretty much as a LP, with the mahogany/maple body.
AnH555 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Well I ran across a website called Gbase.com and found this. It's a 2007, and it's $499. No model name given, though. photo1_a620b-Original.jpg photo1_a620b-Original.jpg_thumb
gtrnstuff Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 Looks like they shortened the top horn. Probably a good move, mine took some getting used to, getting the hanging balance right.
jacques Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Well I ran across a website called Gbase.com and found this. It's a 2007, and it's $499. No model name given, though. It can't be a 2007 guitar, it is a 1988, just like my 162. The Kahler Spyder tremolo has been out of production for a long while. The guys at Heritage must have been experimenting with these tremolos and the Schaller single coil - humbucker superstrat set up back in the eighties. Dick Seacup Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 What does the mini switch do? Coil split on the bucker?
jacques Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 yes it does you can turn this guitar into a genuine stratocaster with all the fancy bell-like in between settings plus you can let it scream with the humbucker nothing wrong imho with the Schaller pickups will update later to tell about their behaviour in difficult circumstances like in a crowded place with plenty of other noises and a loud band H-163-wholefromtop.jpg H-163-wholefromtop.jpg_thumb
Thundersteel Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I thought it was a bass at first. Hey...maybe Heritage can start making electric basses! Heritage/Jay, are you listening?
guitardude5 Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 That looks like a pretty cool guitar you've got there. The closest thing to it is in the '89 brochure - The Parsons Street V. http://www.heritageguitar.com/Heritage%20%...ndal%20Wall.pdf What is the neck shape? Is it big and chunky or slim and modern?
