Scored this on the E- YAay last week during the debate- seemed like to good of a deal to pass up. (At least that's how I sold the idea after the fact to my wife). I pulled the control cover off and it's loaded with SD '59's. Should be a good compliment with the 535 with SL's. Please let the GAS stay in remission - I can't afford rehab!

It is an OSB - haven't seen to many of those. Thanks FredZepp! - and yes, I did get my tickets this morning for the "Celebration Day" show/movie at my local IMAX- can't wait! :icon_pirat:

Looks more quilty than flamey, eh? Nice. My very first Heritage was an H157 in OSB w/59s. That one brings back memories, for sure.

do you have a resident wizard, who lives in that tower? I thought I could see Jimmy Page peering out thru the window :D

I wish He did - I can assure you the resident wizard is a hack - at best! Maybe with the new axe, i can convince some talent to come and haunt the place for awhile - It is almost Halloween!

And thanks for the cool house comment- it's a 1927 with great character - especially the "coffin" shaped door - the first i've seen.

I miss having NGDs. Having a full stable does have it's downsides I guess. But, I do learn to appreciate the guitars I have more.

Anyway, that is one SMOKING guitar. I love the finish on that, and it just looks classy, and plays every bit as good as it looks I'd Imagine.

^^Like Slammer, I too am GAS free.

Like you, I miss NGDs

well... I have NBD's instead. I'm currently spec'ing out a custom Carvin Bass (my second) and waiting for my Stingray 5 to get to the factory for repairs to the preamp. So, it'll be like another NBD when the SR5 comes back and sounds like it should, and then another when the custom carvin comes. But in general, I think after this bass, I'll be just about set. Might sell off a few more guitars, and maybe by SB-2 bass. Not having an active preamp is kinda killing it for me on that bass. If only G&L would put out an SB-2 that had an active preamp.
