MartyGrass Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I can't believe the monster tones this thing now produces! Before: After. These are old Epiphone hats. So the music has a slight Asian accent.
Gitfiddler Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I know what you mean. I swapped out the Black Speed knobs for Witch Hats on my 157 Natural and Oh Baby! The tones just opened up on that gitfiddle!!
MartyGrass Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 Nice... Just the knobs? What do you mean JUST? Okay, I also swapped out 59s for Seths last week. But I haven't even plugged it in yet. In fact it still has the factory GHS strings. I'll get to restringing it soon.

MartyGrass Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 I did the knobs! I needed some touch up buffing, so Aaron Cowles did both jobs.

Anything else is now going to go to Brentley. How does Aaron pronounce his last name? Is it like COALS OR MORE LIKE OWLS?
bolero Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 nice...I think the 157 looks better with the gold knobs too
