bolero Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 ha...I bet the tone is much better now!! I prefer those bevelled gold knobs though, myself and the most comfortable speed knobs I've used were PRS....they aren't square, they are a bit concave on the side profile, so easier fit to your finger
Kuz Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I bet the original photo with a black toggle tip would be where I would go with that guitar. Just my .02
Steiner Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Beautiful! It's like seeing the guitar from a different angle. The after has a much more natural color.
skydog52 Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 knob job? beautiful gee-tar! Yes knob job. It had black speeds with a white switch tip. I was giving it a polish job and had these and thought I'd try it. ha...I bet the tone is much better now!! GASguy Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Nice mods, I would not have expected the switch tip change would change the appearance as much as it actually did. That is a really beautiful sunset burst on that 575.
2bornot2bop Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Awright!!! I'm diggin' both those mods. That archtop is lookin' right at home. Nice photo brother!

schundog Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I'm glad that one stayed in the family. Paul, you've got a knack for picking out some of the most stunning Heritages.... Congratulations! (Oh, and you can send me any of your discarded black speed knobs, I put them on most stuff for some reason, haha)

Congratulations! (Oh, and you can send me any of your discarded black speed knobs, I put them on most stuff for some reason, haha) Thanks Brian. This is the first H-575 I have owned. I really like it. It is in great shape for its age. It has a few beauty marks but it gives it character. We all get battle scars as we age. PM me with your address. One of the knobs had a blemish but I have a few hanging around.
