Heritage525 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Finally! After about 3 years of being Heritage-less . . . I'm back in the game with an awesome 157 (thanks Dave!) Although I totally love and enjoy my G&L's . . . feels (and sounds) nice to be playing an Heritage! Gigging it tomorrow night with my band . . . will give a report.
FredZepp Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I was enjoying my 157 earlier today and they play wonderful. Enjoy that Heritage !!! It looks great with that pickguard.
bolero Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 congratulations, that's a fantastic looking 157 :headbang:
H Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 You've picked a spectacular guitar for your big entrance
hotfordcoupe Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Now that's what a Les Paul should look like. I hope it sounds as good as it looks.
golferwave Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Congrats! That is one beautiful H-157...and the dot inlays really top off the custom look!
fxdx99 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Congrats, Steve. Play it in good health - gig report on results appreciated!
DetroitBlues Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Dots look much better with bound fretboards... Congrats!
tulk1 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Beautiful guitar. It has dots. And multiple binding. Strange combo. And it's an H157?
Heritage525 Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 Yes, 157 with dots, Dave, who I bought it from custom ordered it through Wolfe guitars. He liked the ideas of feeling more ebony under his fingers instrade of inlay. I agree . . . I also like the look.
kidsmoke Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Gorgeous. And Welcome back to the fray. Look forward to a gig report. What will you be playing it through? What pickups is it sportin'?

He liked the ideas of feeling more ebony under his fingers instrade of inlay. I agree . . . I also like the look. THAT one!! Okay. Remember that now. Yeah, it's very unique. I think it's pretty danged cool. The dots and multiple inlay just threw me for a bit. Glad this one stayed in the family.
Heritage525 Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 The guitar has Seth Lovers . . . I play through a Heritage Patriot 2X12, with a few pedals . . Full Drive 2, for some mild over drive.

He liked the ideas of feeling more ebony under his fingers instrade of inlay. I agree . . . I also like the look. Makes total sense. As a matter of fact I like ebony fret-boards with no inlay whatsoever
DetroitBlues Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Makes total sense. As a matter of fact I like ebony fret-boards with no inlay whatsoever +1!
Gitfiddler Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Nice score, Steve. I know you've been hankerin' for another Heritage for a while. You did good...real good on that one.
