wardy Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I'm new to the forum. I have a 1985 Heritage H-150 CM that I purchased new in 1986. I'm trying to determine a value. I posted this in the marketplace section but I think it got deleted because I didn't post a price. Not sure if I'm going to sell it or not, but I'm trying to find out the value. The ser. no. is B12803 Any positive feedback would be appreciated - or if you can point me in the right direction. thanks! wardy
eljay Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 welcome, wardy. be patient and i'm sure some of the uber-knowledgable members (that leaves me out) will give you good info.
DetroitBlues Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 That's a 140, not a 150. Value is somewhere between $850 and $1200. Bad time of year to sell. I'm just speculating based upon sales history on this forum.
schundog Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 It looks more like a 140 with the florentine cutaway and dot inlays. Are you sure it's a 150? Just curious. The value of ANY guitar is, of course, what someone is willing to give you for it. With dots and Schaller hardware/pickups, I'd say you could ask between $800-$1100 and have a good chance of selling it here. B serial number Heritages are pretty rare, but I don't know that they demand a premium. I wish you luck!
TalismanRich Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I think what you have there is an H140, not an H150. The 140 had the sharp Florentine cutaway. Here's my 87 H140. Current prices for an early 140 are going to be in the $1000 range, +/- $150, depending on condition.
wardy Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 Hi, thanks for the replies! I was a little unclear on the exact model and wasn't sure how to determine it. So, thanks for the help! wardy
DetroitBlues Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Pull the control cavity cover off and there should be a label on the inside of the cover.
