C9Y Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 You may remember meeting my friend Mike at the last PSP. He had a Prospect with gold hardware. Mike used to be a Heritage dealer, and he fortunately kept some of his literature. I thought you guys would all enjoy reading it. I scanned and have uploaded the history folio, it's pretty cool, and is black and white. I also have a 12 page full color catalog, but it's too big for my allotted space, about 13 MB. If one of the admins would let me know if there's some place to archive it, please let me know. Thanks guys, Jim, aka C9Y HeritageGuitar.PDF
totonka Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks! It'd be nice to see that catalog too!
blueox Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 That's a worthwhile addition to the Heritage library.
Steiner Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 If you scan and create another PDF file, it should be small enough to place on this site. The other option would be to scan and save as a TIFF or JPEG and post on photobucket.com with a link here. Your PDF is awesome. Thank you for the effort.
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Dont remember seeing you at PSP either. Can you give us more identifying information? There were lots of first timers... Thanks for sharing the attachment.
bolero Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 hey thx for that if you look at what they each wrote back then, I would say they have been successful with their goals!! JIM DEURLOO: "I would like Hentage to be the leader in top quality professional guitars.' MARV LAMB: "Heritage should have steady and continous growlh, but never lose control or allow the guality of the product to suffer" JP MOATS: 'My goal lor Heritage is steady growth to the top builder of custom guitars.' BILL PAIGE: "I feel Heritage has an image of high quality. We would like to maintain that image along with a prolonged period of growth"
hotfordcoupe Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Very interesting. I've never seen a Heritage catalog from any dealer, so it's nice to finally see one.
rjsanders Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 the '89, '92, & (i think) '93 brochures, and a price list are already here: http://www.heritageo...chures-price-l/ if mr. admin or any mods can or want to take them & put them in a better or more visibile area for all to see, that's fine by me, of course. glad to see more potential dealer input
tulk1 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Currently Heritage manufacturesCustom Carved Hollow Body Guitars Semi Hollow and Hollow Body Guitars, Solid Body Guitars, Basses, Acoustic Guitars, Mandolins and a Banjo. And a banjo. So now we know, they made a banjo, as in one. ............

HANGAR18 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I also have a 12 page full color catalog, but it's too big for my allotted space, about 13 MB. I can host the full size file on another web site of my own invention and put a link from this thread to that file there if the moderators of this site will sign off on the idea.

I'll be away for a bit, and will check back in about a week.
