TheDr Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I have, in my collection, a 1989 (F16003) Limited Edition CM 150 #38. I was told this is number 38 of a total run of 100. Can anyone verify?
DetroitBlues Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Number on the back indicates a special run. Remove the control cavity cover and look on the back side of the cover.
mars_hall Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Stamped number are the limited edition number of a run. The quantity within a limited run varies. If the number is 2 and the guitar is a second, they use a wood punch direct into the wood.
TheDr Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 I checked the control cavity cover. It just states that it is a limited edition, not how many were made. Any other suggestions?
Spectrum13 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Super example! Like the early cutaway, headstock and scratch guard. Very very very very nice. Did you wear away the pole piece heads on your pickups?
Gitfiddler Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Are those Carvin pickups or another brand? Cool looking Ltd. Ed. you've got there.
TheDr Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 Thos are the original Heritage "Blues" pickups
bolero Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 hot damn, that's a nice one too....!! looks great with the gold hardware those imperial's are my favourite tuners.
Millennium Maestro Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I am sure it is actually a Deluxe Limited ed. model and they keep adding to it, I have 92 and a few others I also believe they are curently up in the High/mid 200s in sequence. Give aways, Bound matching headstock, pickguard... Typically they installed 59s in Deluxes. I would also like to say I have an interest in this guitar as I have already stated in PM message to you, Let me know where you stand with the guitar. Guy
FredZepp Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 That is a great 150 that has it's own personality. With a warm and classic look and the old style cutaway it seems that it's an instrument that is sure to please.
