Yankeefan01 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Haven't been around for a while although I have checked in every now and then. Good to see it's still a pretty cool site for a cool guitar company. Here's the reason I'm posting. I'm in a quandry, I have an '85 H140cmv serial number B5501. It's not original, not pristine, but she plays well and is a pretty nice guitar. Thinking about thinning the heard and I think that this one is going to go. Before I put it up a For Sale thread I thought I'd ask you guys to talk me out of it. Heck, I'm not even sure what I should ask for it. Here's a pic...
TalismanRich Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Go ahead and sell it... and forever regret letting a truly great guitar go just to "thin the herd". Early 140s are one of the undervalued gems of the Heritage line.
DetroitBlues Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 That year has a limited number. You'll regret it. If you're thinner the heard, maybe start with something else and get another Heritage!
Blunote Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 If you don't play it, sell it. There are a number of members here who will never have enough guitars and will be pleased to buy yours at a fair price. Then get something you will use.
Yankeefan01 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Got quite the wide range of replies, thanks for your input. I've got the holiday weekend to think about it. Right now I'm leaning towards letting it go. Definitely gonna pull it out and see if that changes.
