Keith7940236 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 This is my new reverb unit build by KBP810. It was constructed to match my 1966 Ampeg Rocket II. As you can see, he did an absolutely fantastic job of matching the existing amp. It's really amazing what a full lush reverb it adds to the already beautiful clean tone of the Ampeg. I sure hope the in the future, KBP810 returns to building, he did a wonderful job!
eljay Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 i have a kbp810 reverb, also. great unit. congratulations on a fine new piece o' gear!
DetroitBlues Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Wow, you wouldn't know it was made right along side that Ampeg!
Guest HRB853370 Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Incredible job! There is no limit to the talent that KBP has when building gear. He is simply amazing! I almost bought one of those off Ebay last week. I got gun shy at the very end and didnt pull the trigger. You had me gassin Keith! Especially since I owned an original 65 Gemini II with the 15" Jensen in it, from when I played accordion as a kid. Dummy me sold it about 12 years ago.
Gitfiddler Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 That is the most beautiful reverb unit I've ever seen! I love that old school Ampeg covering. Well done, Brian...and congratulations, Keith.
Horace Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Uh oh, I've just come down with a bad case of gear envy. Very nice !
schundog Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Those two look like they pair together very nicely. Brian is a very conscientious builder, and a heck of a nice guy. Congrats!
