brentrocks Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I just got this back from Pete Moreno yesterday. It was a H 157 BB, the top had been striped and i had Pete shoot a silverburst on the top...it turned out GREAT!!! I also converted it to chrome hardware! * Ebony board * MOP block inlays * Multi ply binding * Tim Shaw PAFs * Nashville hardware * Locking Grovers * CTS 500k pots * NOS Russian PIO caps * Switchmaster toggle I got it put together late last night so i really havent had a chance to let her rip yet. Its a beefy guitar...about 9.5 lbs. Medium thin neck. I'm really happy with the finished result!
DetroitBlues Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I thought you had this one for awhile... Or was that a Gibson you changed to Sliverburst? Either way, that's sweet. I like how you mixed up the all black and zebra coil humbuckers too...
Genericmusic Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 That turned out real nice. A real stunner. You and Pete make a formidable Team. Nice work.
FredZepp Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Another great silverburst ! And that is a really sharp looking headstock too.....

Kuz Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 How many SilverBursts have how had Brent? I seem to recall this one as #6 or #7. Just curious.
SouthpawGuy Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Methinks this is Silver Burst IV. Looks good. What happened to the three pickup 157 black beauty ?
Steiner Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Classy guitar. All dressed in it's tuxedo. Nice work.
brentrocks Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 Methinks this is Silver Burst IV. Looks good. What happened to the three pickup 157 black beauty ? Thanks Paul! The tripple 157 went to a new home in order for me to get the gold V

Millennium Maestro Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Same here, why keep changing a true Heritage color? I know it's your's, just curious Here is an interesting thought... What if Alex Scholnick chose his silverburst 157 color from one of Brents refins! And I like them
