TalismanRich Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Do you guys look at Heritage as "custom" guitars perse, or just a smaller company with a cool history? YES!.

rockabilly69 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 It seems like the 535 is one of Heritages most respected models, even die hard Gibson fans concede that Heritage knows how to build the 535, and your looks great!!!
BluesDabbler Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Here's a photo of my new 535! What an awesome guitar! Simply amazing. She screams and sounds perfect distorted. I'm still tweaking knobs to get a really nice warm clean blues tone. I switched the knobs with a set of top hats I had laying around. Love the black and silver with the black pickguard and silver pups!
golferwave Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Very nice! I'm glad it arrived safely and that you're now enjoying that Heritage vibe!

As a blues fan, you will feel right at home with the H-535 as it definitely has that tone.
GuitArtMan Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Welcome aboard - the guitar is beautiius maximus!
BluesDabbler Posted December 24, 2012 Author Posted December 24, 2012 Well I've had her for a bit now and I have to say I am just completely happy! I have a Les Paul Historic 57R and a Custom Strat and I still think the tone coming from the 535 is spot on for what I like to play. I still love my strat and it for sure is easier to keep on my lap and the Lester is a collectors piece so I only play it a little anyway, but I can see this 535 getting a lot of use!
