Tammuz7000 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Does anyone use the SKB cases for their Heritages? i need a case for aGibson es345 and was thinking of this one http://www.skbcases.com/music/products/proddetail.php?f=&id=192&o=&offset=3&c=75&s=75 or this one.. from TKL.. http://www.tkl.com/?siteid=search&qsearch=335&sh=Guitar - 335 Style Any advice on cases? the old gibson one I have works but the guitar moves around to much. I would only be using this in a car to take the guitar to gigs. -Tom
mars_hall Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Be sure to get one deep enough to account for the 17 degree head angle. I have a SKB case that works fine for a LP but not a H150. I think the TKL cases are deep enough.
High Flying Bird Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Access Bags & Cases make nice stuff. Google them.
Tammuz7000 Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 Thanks, I never heard of Access but will check them out. A friend uses a reunion blues bag to take his Heritage back and forth to gigs. Does anyone use them or the mono gig bag? http://www.monocase.com/mono-semi-hollow.asp http://reunionblues.com/product/204/...ic-guitar-case
mark555 Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I like Gator products, meanwile, you could always pad your case with foam and dusters, I know a guy with a vintage 345 who does thatand he has no intention of getting a new case...
