LK155 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Picture's a couple of years old, but nothing's changed.............
Steiner Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I see a couple of beautiful, flamed maple cabs! Yum!!!
JeffB Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Fender rig at a relaxed country fair type gig. Amp pointed at drummer, 212 cab ointed at back of legs. I dont want that stuff in my ears. Beck uses the JCM 800 212 combo. Mesa rig at a more formal suit and tie event. Between sets. I love the Mesa rig, it sounds great.
Gitfiddler Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 For a truly versatile rig, this G&L Korina Bluesboy + Fender Blues Deluxe w/ext. cab is made for playing out! Sounds pretty darn good at home too.
bolero Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 all great pics here!! I am drooling over the fantastic combinations of gtr+amp I'd love a korina ASAT someday...those are sweet! I was messing around with amp setups today, I think I'll use this combo next month it's a '66 or so Garnet Rebel Deluxe tube amp; 2x6L6 power section. has an over-the-top fuzz circuit ( "the stinger" ), plus tube tremolo....sounds righteous on "born on the bayou"!! plugged into an open back 4x10 pine cab with 2 Webers & 2 Scumback's we have a couple strat tunes ( Hendrix, CCR ) and a lot of humbucker songs, so I need it to work with both setups...I have the G&L sounding great, but need to figure out the Heritage settings to make it sing. strats need much more bass so I'l start with cutting that
Guest HRB853370 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 The first photo is my my practice room rig. The second is the rig I used Saturday nite when I played at a Lofts clubhouse!
