big bob Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 Can you post a picture of the hum with your Ipad? I might be able to actually!
schundog Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Can you post a picture of the hum with your Ipad? Sure....Oh, wait, you meant Lance's amp hum?! I'm so embarrassed....No, just apparently an idiot with nothing better to do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHXn6RIKVA8&feature=youtu.be

Steiner Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Shundog - that hummer has an HFT445 in the background! Whilst that hum may never be fixed, it certainly may be drowned out by the acoustic guitar,

And one of the most disturbing....
55tele Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Should be no harm done if no signal was going in....Were you playing the amp or was it just on but not connected to a speaker??.......... I did this with my Mesa Boogie Mark 1 a couple of years ago at a gig......unknowingly had a blown speaker...open voice coil.......no harm done.....
schundog Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Welcome to the forum, 55 Tele! Good to see another Illinoisan in the fold (I live down in Bloomington/Normal.)
