Lkdog Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I have a great 555 I picked up here from a Heritage forum owner. Love the guitar. Was thinking I might like the more traditional rounder Gibson style pickguard rather than the Heritage pointy one. Are there drop in replacements available somewhere? Do not want to do any drilling. Thanks.
Buckyrock Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 http://www.pickguardian.com/pickguardian/ This guy can make you what you want.. I've had good luck with him.
DetroitBlues Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 There are many of us who prefer the old Gibson shaped PG's. I don't blame you for changing it up.

mark555 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Each to their own with their individuality, which I think is a really great thing, but eventually I came to love the pointy scratch plate, but mine is the exact same finish as my 555. Now, if only we could switch the headstock.....!
Hodbad Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Try talking to Jay Wolfe at Wolfe Guitars , I just got a 555 from him with a more conventional PG. There is a recent post of mine showing the guitar
