Number8 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Drove from Chicago to Ann Arbor to pick this little girl up on New Year's Day morning. She's a 2003 "Eagle". I named her "Pure Michigan".
Keith7940236 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Congratulations. Is that all Mahogany? You are going to love that guitar!!
Genericmusic Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Is that all Mahogany? From the photo's it looks to be spruce. Fine looking guitar.
Steiner Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 There's something about those guitars that just make you want to soar. Fly high and enjoy.
Number8 Posted January 4, 2013 Author Posted January 4, 2013 I assumed it was mahog but I actually haven't explored that question yet.
2bornot2bop Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 My money is definitely on Mahogany. No way that it's spruce. At any rate she's a beauty...I bet she's really warm...that's the signature of a mahogany Eagle. Mega Congrats!!!
hotfordcoupe Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Oh yeah. She looks like a real wide body unless that's because of the camera angle. That's got to have a nice sweet mellow sound. Congrats.
DC Ron Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Love the burst on this one. The wavy top grain certainly indicates mahogany. Nice!
Number8 Posted January 5, 2013 Author Posted January 5, 2013 Oh yeah. She looks like a real wide body unless that's because of the camera angle. That's got to have a nice sweet mellow sound. Congrats. 17" wide x 20+" long x 3+" deep
