Bob54 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Has anyone checked out the Gold top P90 at the Music Go Round in Ann Arbor? They've got a $1699 price tag on it - seems high. What do those "in the know" think? Much appreciated. Bob
DetroitBlues Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I saw several Gibby GT's on GC's used gear section. All are In that price range.
Guest HRB853370 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I paid quite a bit less for my 2011 H150 GT.
bigsbytp Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 One on EBAY went for about that $1650 area recently. Like anything, there is retail and whole sale. $1600 is not wrong...especially if you look at a new one would cost.... Obvious alert: less is better. If you buy from a dealer - the guy who went through the bother to put up a store and acquire inventory so that we all have something to go look at...and an agent to find things for us...that location will have to charge more than a guy who is late on his rent and has a closet full of stuff.... I know we all know this. I am probably stating the obvious. I know I like a deal....or steal...once in a while. A buddy of mine makes his living with his guitar and has a very different take on shops and dealers. He needs them. and sometimes they pull him out of a bind when he has problems with his equipment. Unlike us, he rarely tries to sell anything on his own. Takes a steal when he finds it, and often starts his hunt with dealers. He is probably right in his case. I know I work to support dealers I like.
skydog52 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I'm going to be in Ann Arbor tomorrow. I'll check it out and get some pics.
