Really love that. On paper, I think I would have thought "too much bling" with the bound stock, the split blocks the trapeze etc. But just goes to show you why I'm not a designer. That is perfection.

Well ain't that a peach! One question though, what made you go with the

non floating bridge?

Floating bridges drift Rockabilly, this one wont!!

My winburst 550 is in storage- :icon_pale: as we moved right after I acquired it. I hope you can provide feedback as to which amp makes it really sing. I need to grab mine next trip back to Georgia...

Not if they are set up right, mine stick like glue:) But you may be right, some people are scared off with

the idea that the bridge may drift around a bit. I was more wondering though, was it a tonal decision?

I am wondering what kind of music the OP will be playing on this rig!

Just to be clear, that is one of the nicest guitars I have seen posted on these pages, and I have said

before that I love P90 pickups, and that finish with the rounded cutaway is righteous!!!

And bridges can be pinned, too. I've been playing blues, jump, and swing with my new band, and I'm using the Super Eagle with the floater. I was worried about the bridge shifting when I get a little...enthusiastic. And once in a while it may drift 1/32nd +, usually to the treble side. But it's not a problem. A little awareness while playing is all that's required. And that 550 is immaculate!

No need to pin them, just use some of that 3m two sided tape. It will hold that bridge down perfectly, doesn't affect the tone, and it is ridiculously thin and easy to use. I used this stuff on my Gretsch DuoJet and it worked great although I was very rough on that guitar!
