NGD: Blue Millie with HRWs

Number8

It took a little time but my project has come together. That is, my blue Millennium in which I put a set of HRWs. Had a little scare with a bad pot (which left me wondering what all the HRW fuss was about), but now that's fixed and it roars.

Her name is "Blu Troia" because she's been passed around and has signs of wear. GPuma can translate that for you.

You might want to upload larger images. All I'm able to see are thumbnail sized ones.

Beauty!

Now, plug it into a BF Reverb Deluxe or Twin.

She's already been partnered with a Blues Junior, a Deluxe and a little Peavey...a true Troia.

Beautiful guitar.

Blue Troia? That's just mean.

Didn't you build a guitar and name it "La Cabronita"

this is making me recall.....weren't we gonna have a meeting where we passed our...ahem....guitars around and made some joyful noise? Starting a thread....

nice. Is that silver or gold hdware? I can't tell, though I see it has gold tophats. congrats on such a fine pickup, you'll love it.

here's a rainbow sister to yours: my red 155. it has HRW's too, from the factory. Silver Hardware, which makes it atypical. my favorite guitar, sitting next to me on the stand always at the ready as I type.

now all we need is someone to post photos of their green and Vintage burst H155, surely there are copies out there..

love it in good health,

chico

It's actually gold hardware except for the pup covers and the selector knob. I was going to switch those to gold too but ultimtely I kind of liked the way it looked. At first I thought I might have just been talking myself into that look to save a few bucks but then I realized it worked because the silver covers work with the block inlays and the cream pup rings jive with the neck binding. I like it a lot actually.

Jim Duerloo shares your assessment. Although, he may be a bit biased, since it's his design.

Seeing your Custom Millie Ultra, Skydog, when you took delivery at PSP, coupled with a lengthy discussion with Jim at his bench with "raw" Millie bodies in front of us, bumped the model into a tie for first on my HBL (Heritage Bucket List)

Awesome score, 8.
