houndhome Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I suppose trying not to fall means not looking. So I shouldnt have been looking on ebay USA.This one didnt seem to come up on HOC Baywatch, but I've just weakened and bought one off ebay from Connecticut!! 2007 with a natural flamed maple top, gold fittings and HRW pickups.Did anyone else spot it? All I have to do now is wait impatiently.Pictures to follow when it arrives, unless anyone is more clever than me and can add to this topic by posting the ebay pictures.
golferwave Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I saw that one and it is stunning! A real beautiful natural flame top. Post some pics when you get it and give us a tone report. Congratulations!
Millennium Maestro Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I've just weakened and bought one off ebay from Connecticut!! 2007 with a natural flamed maple top, gold fittings and HRW pickups.Did anyone else spot it? I hope he did not use me as a bargaining tool against you... She is a real looker, just not mint as described...
MartyGrass Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 It's an Ultra. And a very nice looking one.
Millennium Maestro Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Congrats, she is a looker! With HRWs to boot... open up the control cavity, I think its and ULTRA
High Flying Bird Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Beautiful! It looks like Joe's 150. I wonder if they are related.
zguitar71 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Wow, that's pretty special. Nice guitar man.
houndhome Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 Thanks for all the positive comments. With ref. to the bargaining tool comments there was no mention to me that anyone else was bidding, and I got a small reduction on the asking price.I am not very familiar with H150 variations,so can someone tell me what specification makes it an Ultra, and some indication of how new prices vary on the different versions.
H Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 That's nice! I'd be interested to hear your opinion of the HRW pickups when you've had a chance to fire her up.
PunkKitty Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Very, very nice. I saw that one on the bay. I was hoping that someone here would end up with it. Congrats!
Millennium Maestro Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Beautiful! It looks like Joe's 150. I wonder if they are related. Joes 150 is Black Korina... Almost bought one identical to this from Rich Butler
Steiner Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Well, it's a good thing you didn't need one. A stunning example of the Kazoo talent! Enjoy.
bolero Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 super ( kalamazoo) fragilistic expe-alidocious!! crazy grain on that!!
blueox Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 With the HRW pickups and the super top, that is certainly an H-150CM-Ultra, a model no longer made at the factory. You can't be blamed for falling for that one. Was it love at first sight?
FredZepp Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 That is an awesome 150.... one that will spread the legend of Heritage to all that admire it.
GASguy Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 That is one drop dead killer top on tthat 150 and HRW pickups too! Congratulations on a great guitar!!!
houndhome Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Just checked the dealers description, which says the pickups are Seymour Duncans, which given the twin adjustment screws and dot on the pickup selector would appear to be wrong.I shall find out when she arrives

houndhome Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Thanks for that, its what I had previously thought, but today looked at the "sold" listing on the dealers website.I suspect that he originally thought they were SDs and then changed his opinion.I appreciate your checking ebay for me.
