bolero Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 sometimes we don't appreciate what we have, or for whatever reason we need to sell things we aren't using...in my case this amp had been sitting unused for 3 years or so; I have other stuff I use & have grown to prefer but certainly it was a legendary, fantastic amp. I got an emali from the buyer, this made me smile, feel good & know it would be put to good use: "Hi Chris, Got the amp today. Packed really well, thanks for that. Popped the tubes in and turned her on. They all glowed. Good. Plugged her into my new/old speaker cab and WOW! Just WOW! I'm totally not worthy of such a rig. I'm speechless it's so good. Thank you."
yoslate Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 It's fun to share the wealth. Amen, brother Steiner!
schundog Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Chris, hopefully you can salve your wounds with that sweet new/old Super Reverb! Neat story.

hinesarchtop Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I've always believed that if you place special instruments in the right hand's others will come your way. I call it "good guitarma"

H Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 It's a reissue isn't it, Slammer? You'd have paid more than $750 for a 1963 PTP brownface Vibroverb...

Just like I drink Natural Light most of the time, I cannot afford expensive craft beers. But they say these sound pretty damn authentic. We shall see! http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Fender+vibroverb&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=619&_okw=&_oexkw=&_adv=1&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=200&_fpos=&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50
