sometimes we don't appreciate what we have, or for whatever reason we need to sell things we aren't using...in my case this amp had been sitting unused for 3 years or so; I have other stuff I use & have grown to prefer but certainly it was a legendary, fantastic amp.

I got an emali from the buyer, this made me smile, feel good & know it would be put to good use:

"Hi Chris,
Got the amp today. Packed really well, thanks for that. Popped the tubes in and turned her on. They all glowed. Good. Plugged her into my new/old speaker cab and WOW! Just WOW! I'm totally not worthy of such a rig. I'm speechless it's so good. Thank you."

It's fun to share the wealth. Nice work.

Which amp did you sell?

Chris, hopefully you can salve your wounds with that sweet new/old Super Reverb! Neat story.

You mean the one he stole underneath me Brian? Heh heh

thats ok Chris, I really didn't want that silverface SR anyhow! I have a 63 Vibroverb on the way. Man, that word "vibroverb" is hard to type!!

It's a reissue isn't it, Slammer? You'd have paid more than $750 for a 1963 PTP brownface Vibroverb...

Yes, of course it is Howard. Just like I drink Natural Light most of the time, I cannot afford expensive craft beers. But they say these sound pretty damn authentic. We shall see!
